We trust that this circular finds you and your families well as we continue to battle this pandemic together.
NACAC continues to engage you during this time, providing you with continued information and educational courses. In an effort to empower the women in our area, we have offered some pertinent information below for your immediate attention.
NACAC wishes to introduce a Gender Leadership course which will be absolutely free. It will be presented in English with simultaneous Spanish translation. It is being hosted primarily to encourage greater involvement of women at all levels in the sport of Athletics in our Area.
There will be four (4) sessions of coursework and interactions. However, we are requesting your immediate view, no later than Wednesday 8 July 2020, as to whether you would prefer us to use consecutive Saturdays and complete the course earlier or use every other Saturday. Your earliest response will assist us in determining the dates of the sessions.
The course topics and supporting information will be sent in a subsequent circular. A Certificate of Participation from NACAC will be delivered following the conclusion of the course.
Please note that this opportunity will be offered to all member federations of the NACAC. Each member federation is being requested to nominate three (3) women who will be willing and available to participate in this course. We will require the names and email addresses of your participants by return email to enable us to send all pertinent documentation prior to the start of the sessions.

NACAC continúa comprometiéndote durante este tiempo, brindándote información continua y cursos educativos. En un esfuerzo por empoderar a las mujeres en nuestra área, hemos ofrecido a continuación información pertinente para su atención inmediata.
NACAC desea presentar un curso de Liderazgo de Género que será totalmente gratuito. Se presentará en inglés con traducción simultánea al español. Se está organizando principalmente para alentar una mayor participación de las mujeres en todos los niveles en el deporte del atletismo en nuestra área.
Habrá cuatro (4) sesiones de cursos e interacciones. Sin embargo, estamos solicitando su vista inmediata, a más tardar el miércoles 8 de julio de 2020, sobre si prefiere que usemos los sábados consecutivos y completemos el curso antes o los dos sábados. Su primera respuesta nos ayudará a determinar las fechas de las sesiones.
Los temas del curso y la información de respaldo se enviarán en una circular posterior. Se entregará un Certificado de Participación de NACAC después de la conclusión del curso.
Tenga en cuenta que esta oportunidad se ofrecerá a todas las federaciones miembro de la NACAC. Se solicita a cada federación miembro que designe a tres (3) mujeres que estén dispuestas y disponibles para participar en este curso. Requeriremos los nombres y las direcciones de correo electrónico de sus participantes por correo electrónico de respuesta para que podamos enviar toda la documentación pertinente antes del inicio de las sesiones.
