Trinidad and Tobago announced its team for 17th IAAF World Athletics Championships.
Jereem Richards, the London 2017 bronze medallist in the 200m, along with Keshorn Walcott, who won the London 2012 Olympic Games javelin crown, lead the nine-member men’s team.
Trinidad and Tobago is the defending men’s 4x400m champion. Jarrin Solomon, Jereem Richards, Machel Cedenio and Lalonde Gordon were the team members.
Kelly-Ann Baptiste, Daegu 2011 women’s 100m bronze medallist, heads the six-member female squad for Doha 2019 event. Michelle-Lee Ahye, who is provisionally suspended for Anti-Doping Violation, was left off the team.
