CIRCULAR LETTER TO NACAC FEDERATIONS
WHITSUNTIDE GAMES 2019
The Grenada Athletic Association reminds National Federations that the 2019
Whitsuntide Games will be held at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium, St. George’s on 8th and 9th June.
The Games provide an opportunity for your national athletes to qualify for, in
particular, the 2019 World Championships which will be held during 27th September to 6th October in Doha, Qatar. Even if they have already qualified, it would create an opportunity for competition to improve times, distances and heights.
Outside of the Open and International categories, there will be events for:
- Boys and Girls Under 20
- Boys and Girls Under 17
- Boys and Girls Under 15
- Boys and Girls Under 13
These events will provide competition for the region’s younger athletes and have them showcase their talent among their peers.
Be reminded that although invitations are sent primarily to national federations, we would really appreciate having your Clubs and Schools participate in this regional event.
