On Saturday, November 30th and Sunday, December 1st at the Magico Gonzalez Stadium in San Salvador, El Salvador, was held the U14 & U16 Central American Championship with the participation of more than 250 athletes and the 7 countries of the area: Guatemala, Belize , El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
NACAC President Mike Sands and General Secretary Keith Joseph attended to El Salvador and were part of the event, where they took advantage of the occasion to meet with the presidents of the CADICA area and see the activities for the benefit of athletics for the coming years.
During the competitions 14 records of the U16 category were broken, and the overall champion was Costa Rica.
